Christmas 2007

So here are a few pictures from Christmas. Cory and I borrowed a tree from my parents, along with ornaments and a tree skirt, and set up a Christmas tree in our house, even though we were in Boise for Christmas Day. It was so fun to have a tree to help get us in the spirit of Christmas.
The next picture is of Cory and me in front of his house in Boise. My brother Todd picked out that cute shirt I'm wearing. Not too bad, eh? :)
The third picture is on Christmas morning. Everyone looks half dead because it's 6, I repeat, 6 o'clock in the blessed AM. I swear to you. I have no idea why the Jones family thought it was a good idea to get up that early, but they did. I swore to them that this could never happen again, but they just laughed and said welcome to the family! :) I called my mom just after 9 AM that morning. I had finished Christmas and taken a nap by this time, but she was just starting to make breakfast, Todd was still in bed, and my Dad was shoveling snow outside. It had barely occurred to them that it was Christmas morning by 9 AM. That's when I was for sure homesick, wishing I could be asleep too! But all in all the holiday was great and it was fun to be with Cory's family.
