three things

First:
Emily had signs of another ear infection--her third one in less than 2 months--so I took her to the doctor. She does have fluid in her ears, but it's not infected. weird. So he's treating her for another ear infection just in case, and if the fluid is not gone when she goes back to him in two weeks, he's sending her to an ENT to get tubes in her ears because she shouldn't just have fluid in there. But he said her reflux could be the cause of the fluid. The good thing is though, is that she has already used the max out of pocket on insurance, so the tubes will be free for us! helpful. Those insurance folk are cursing the day they ever insured her. :)

Second:
I cleaned carpets at my mom's rental units all day yesterday, and today I feel like I've been hit by a bus and I have blisters and bruises on my hands. BUT! I earned myself $100 bucks and I'm going to the mall!! Wahoo! I'm thinkin Nordstrom half-yearly sale, MAC pallets, maybe Charlotte Russe or The GAP. ah...delicious.

Third:
I went to the dentist yesterday...I do have one small cavity, but that's not the real issue. The issue is that my teeth are moving and pushing and knocking each other around so I have to probably get BRACES! At 24 years old I need braces. LaMe! So I have my consult for invisiline on Aug 25. Wish me luck!

I hope that Emily is feeling better! We put tubes in Alexis' ears and it was the best decision we ever made, she didn't have any problems after that!

I hope that you had a good shopping trip and found lots of good stuff for all of your hard work!

Emily is such a cutie and is getting so big!

Good luck tiff with the braces - at least you can do invisiline - lucky girl! Are you going to get your wisdom teeth out? Or did you already do that? I feel really good about your shopping trip too! You deserve it after all those doctor trips.

I know this is weird, but if you do need an ENT, I went to an awesome one like every 2 months from like 2nd grade until high school...his name is Kip Robbins...I would totally recommend him.

My condolences on the braces - I worry that I'm going to need them too. Sucky part for me? I already had them when I 13...

Hey if you can hold off for about 2 years, Dave would be happy to do it for you. :)
