Carter's tag issues

For those of you that didn't know, Carter's Brand clothing has had some issues with the tags on their Fall 2007 line. And, since I buy all of Emily's clothes in advance (saves me TONS of money!!!), that means that she has a bunch of 2007 clothes that she has been wearing this Fall and will wear starting in January. Apparently their tags were causing an allergic reaction in 4 babies for every 1 million products sold. You can read more about the issue here. So not a ton of people having an issue, but my sweet Emmie happened to fit the bill. I had noticed a rash ish type thing at the nape of her neck and upper shoulder area, but didn't think much of it since she has eczema, until Tara said something about Carter's tags having an issue. So I decided to test it out. The rash would leave when she didn't wear Carter's clothes for a couple days, and then would come right back when I put the bad tag clothes on her. Just like their website said would happen. Nice.
SO....
Last night I went thru all of her clothes and found all of these that have the bad tag.

That's kind of a lot!
So today I called the 800 number they have listed on their website, and I love Carter's! The lady didn't even make a fuss. She just asked for my address and phone #, said she would send me some envelopes (with postage already paid) to put my clothes in, and then all I have to do is send them in and they will refund me the full MSRP price for all the clothes. And she said she would also send Emily a stuffed animal with the envelopes. Cool! Most the them still have the tags attached since they are size 12 months, so I added it all up and I'm pretty sure I have $248 coming back to me. Pretty awesome! Although she pretty much has dresses and her BSU onesies to wear right now and that's it, so we'll be going to the store when I get the check from them. But anyway, if your kids have Carter's 2007 clothes and they have a rash, get a refund on them!

So, the new Smith's Marketplace up by Micron is having a big sale on Osh Kosh and Carters clothes - 40-50% off and then there's a 15% coupon for additional savings! Maybe you should go check it out there! Not to mention their milk, bread, and cereal are only $1 and hamburger 85% lean is 1.49. Then maybe you should stop by and see us!!!

that is awesome. with that amount of money, you can buy a whole years worth of clothes. I am happy to help you spend that at the GAP. You know I love to shop for little girls clothes there.
