On Saturday we spent 45 mins or so at the beach, cause we can do that when we live 3 miles from the beach! We don't have to spend all day there since we can just come back the next day if we want. It was awesome and Emily loved it. And I kind of have to pinch myself when we are there because I just think we are on vacation and we're going home in a couple days. Nope!

I'm a little jealous.
ha, sounds like my whole life! (Besides the last say, 6 years?) In high school, a typical cross country practice was "run from the high school, to the beach, down to the pier, and back to school" That little round trip was like 6 miles. No wonder I actually liked to run back then.. anyway, enjoy it! Because it's starting to get chilly here! Boo!! -Katie S
Riley just watched the video and when it was done he said I want more.
I hope you guys love it and enjoy the experience and nice year round weather.
About time you started posting again! It was fun catching up and looking at pictures. Your girls are so dang cute. And I still can't believe you blessed your child in a hot pink blanket...but I'm glad you like it:)
That is crazy! We'll definitely have to come and visit! And is it just me? It looks a little chilly there!
I totally agree with the whole always feeling like you are on vacation thing. We love going to the beach here in San Diego and everyone else there is on vacation. We always hear people speaking other languages - so they travel from all over the world to see our home. I hope you guys are settling in now. How's the crazy life with 2 kids? Personally, it's pretty crazy for me. And Ryan is super busy in his program already, so it's all me most of the time. Gotta love toddler nap time! :)
So jealous!
Why don't I live in California again? But I am pretty sure you love visitors... right?
