For reals, how cute is this child? I love this picture of her. Little did she know that we were about to feed her some squash. She pretty much hates baby food. First, she gags. Then she bites the spoon so you can't get the food in her mouth. And then, if you keep trying, she just won't open her mouth. Nice. She's six months old and already the most stubborn child I've ever had. Wonder where she learned that.

Look! She can get a hair cut! Sure, it's more of a comb-over at this point, but it still counts!

Wait till she starts spitting the food at you, or grabbing the spoon and throwing it at the wall. Oh yeah, it happens.
I think a lot of babies are like that and honestly I can't blame them - have you smelled that stuff? Yuck! You could get one of those baby food mashers and mash up some of what you guys have for dinner and she'd probably eat it better cause it has some flavor. Or there's always the hiding trick - put a little squash (or whatever) on the spoon and cover it with peaches or something more likeable. It'll work the first few times until they figure out that those aren't the same peaches they've had before...
