So last Monday evening I went to pick up Cory from UCLA. I have to drive right through downtown Westwood to get to campus. There is always a lot of traffic but this particular night there was boatloads of traffic. Like take you 20 mins to go 1/4 of a mile kind of traffic. And my Nattie girl hates the car, except when it's moving. Which means she pretty much screamed for that 20 mins and I wanted to tear my hair out. Turns out all the traffic was because of some "event". Cory had heard at school that it was "some New Moon thing." So we googled it. Turns out, this is what that little "event" was! HELLO!! I had NO idea that the, yes, THE premiere of New Moon, you know, the ones where the stars walk down the red carpet, was right here in my hometown. I would have guessed Hollywood for sure, but not right in Westwood, 10 mins from my house. Why didn't I go??? Oh wait, that would be because I was caught in traffic, cursing this random "event". :)

Totally didn't know that the LA Galaxy was playing Real Salt Lake for the MLS championship until right before the game started. Cory and I watched the game and can I just say that it was AMAZING!! Oh my heck it was intense during the shoot out. But Real pulled it off and I was freaking out excited that my home soccer team won! Go Real! Here are the highlights of the game. Totally awesome.

Oh, I so love that you had to google what the crap "New Moon" was. You and me both! And yes, that REAL game was pretty freaking awesome! I was so proud!
I can't believe you didn't go to the New Moon premier, how cool would that've been?! I'm sure it would've been more fun than being stuck in traffic with a crying baby. :) And, um I just have to say I love Beckham's hair, so good-looking...I even thing Dave agrees. lol Soccer's awesome!
