More differences in the first vs the second:
--I was very diligent about writing in Emily's baby book and baby day by day calendar. Seriously, how did I keep up with both?? I've been lucky to even partially fill either out for my Nattie girl.
--Nattie cries more then Emily, hands down. That could have something to do with the part where Natalie has reflux and the ding dang doctors here won't give me a prescription for her. Where's Dr Scott when I need him?? But I digress. I can't always stop what I'm doing and pick Nattie girl up, now that I've got two. And I'm a little more stubborn about letting her fuss in bed then I was with Emily, because I want her to learn to go to sleep on her own.
--The getting down on the floor and just talking nonsense to the baby gig happens way less. Again, more kids means Mom is needed more places, all at the same time.
--It's way harder to keep my house clean and that is very frustrating to this Mom.
This doesn't mean that Natalie is any less loved! She is such a sweetie and we are so glad to have her. But she has just opened my eyes and I now see just how good I had it when there was only one. No wonder people stop at 2. I keep telling Cory I'm good with just two kids, and I'm actually serious, but then realize I'm not. But we'll be waiting a few years for the next one, that's for sure.
Now on to those pics I was telling you about. Goodness I just want to squeeze those chubby cheeks!!
Nattie girl's stats:
--weighed 13 lbs 10 oz at 2 1/2 mos
--22 inches long at 2.5 months
--Has a sweet callic (sp??) in her hair that pushes her hair back off her forehead and to the side so it looks like her hair is parted like a boys. awesome. But it is totally curly when wet and it's just darling. I'll have fun with that when she's two!
--Size 0-3 mo clothes are getting a little snug but size 3-6 mo still drowns her. And size newborn shoes still make her look like she has shovels for feet.
--Consistently sleeps from 8PM to 6AM every night and her parents love it!
--drinks 5 or 6 4.5 oz bottles a day, (all breastmilk still) and Mom is down to pumping only twice a day and feels liberated!
--Her big sister loves to "help" Nattie when she is crying by bringing her a blankie or binki and shoving (yes, shoving and it kind of freaks me out sometimes) it in her face. But Emmie's heart is in the right place!

She is adorable! I love her cute chubby cheeks too. :)
What a cute little cupcake she is - this Grammie can hardly wait to hold her in a few more days - yipee!!!!!
Super Super Super CUTE!!!! She is growing and changing so fast we can hardly keep up. Good thing I'll get my fill Thanksgiving and then get to see her (and Emily) Christmas!!! Can't wait!!!! See you in like 6 days!!!!

She is such a cute fatso. I can't believe that she is already 13.5 pounds! Darci is barely 18! I sure didn't get to hold her enough when we were there... maybe that had something to do with me being there a total of 18 hours, 1/3 of which was spent shopping. At any rate, she is a doll.
She looks so much different than Emily to me. I think it is her dark hair. But I also didn't actually see Emily until she was 4 months old because we were in Virginia. Regardless, she is super cute.
P.s...there is definitely a strong resemblance between her and Matthew! Which is funny because a lot of people says Matthew looks more like Carissa than me. Yet any resemblance between Nattie and Matthew would have to be Jones...Interesting.
She is SOOOO cute! And has changed so much!! I wish I could see her in person! And I think she looks like you, Tiff! -Katie S
She is such a cute little chunky monkey!! And p.s., it's "cow lick" yes, like a cow actually licked your hair and messed it up. Gross visual, I know.
She is adorable and I love her. I totally am with you on the guilt for not paying as much attention to her as you did your first. But I tell myself at least she has a sibling who's "helpful"
Holy cow, I just read Tara's comment about Darci being 18 pounds. What a cute little peanut!!
She is getting so big, and she totally looks different compared to the last time I saw her! Oh man, how I would love to come out and visit you!
And about it being hard with 2 kiddos - yeah, you gotta learn to divide your attention a million different ways and it's tough, but you'll pick up on it! And don't worry about having a clean house all the time. It seems mine is only clean at night when the kiddos are all asleep. :)
And I think it's spelled cowlick - I could be wrong.
I miss you guys!!!
she is darling. I hope I get to see her at Christmas time!
Oh, she is adorable!!
