Caroline Brickey lost her sweet little girl to SIDS (I think).
Ashley Gourley lost her baby girl to CHD and CHARGE Syndrome.
and Andi Hatch didn't even get to see her little girl smile since she delivered her stillborn.
Wow. Is it just me or does that seem like a lot? As I read these girls' stories I sat there and cried for them and their trials. And hoped I never face that myself.
So on a day that I'm kind of wishing I could be the dad-that-goes-to-school, this made me stop and be grateful for my two sweet girls that I'm lucky enough to keep here on Earth.

It's so humbling to see what others go though, what they can endure, and how resilient they can be.
Just when we think life is hard, God always knows how to help us put things back in perspective.
Okay-I only recognize 1 of those names-but wow. How sad. Glad you get to enjoy your little girls.
I hear ya. That's so sad! I had no idea either that Andrea had lost a little girl - was it one of her twins?? I need the address to her blog!
But yeah, a few weeks ago my parents treated us to a chocolate extravaganza at UVU. It was a benefit to help raise money for the NICU at UVRMC. When they showed pictures of these babies all hooked up to monitors and wires all over...I couldn't help but bawl. I totally could not survive something like that. Having a miscarriage was enough for me!
