In March we had a few days over 80 degrees, so one Saturday morning Cory and I decided to take the girls to the beach. We called some friends to join us, packed a lunch, and headed out. It was pretty much heavenly. On that particular day I decided I was never moving away from CA. :) Seriously, it was so amazing to be at the beach, throwing a frisbee, enjoying the sun and the water, chilling with friends, hearing my squealing 2 year old running from the waves, and everything else. Totally awesome. I love you, California!

I even got my first taste of beach tar. Fun? Not so much.

I didn't even know this stuff existed, but apparently sometimes there is tar down in the sand and if you step on it you spend the next 20 years trying to get it off. Slightly annoying, but it didn't ruin the amazing day.
This part, though, kind of ruined my day. :( I put sunscreen on the rest of my family, but failed to put any on myself. Good job, Mom. At least my babies didn't get burned.

ouch, you dingbat!
That looks like it hurt. Glad you are having fun in the sun because we, are trying hard to have fun with no sun!
You could join us in Canada. I finally started leaving my coat off the other day.
