Just about Emmie

This is how I found my Emily after a nap the other day. Yeah....that is Natalie's dress over her clothes. Notice how she could only get one arm through?? Haha! I laughed so hard when I opened the door! My Emily loves, loves dressing up with clothes, jewelry, purses, you name it, and then says, "Toooooot!!" (cute).

**We took away her binki 2 weeks ago today and she is doing awesome without it. She asked for it for the 1st several days and she would cry at night without it, but we finally tried putting Natalie to sleep with her in the room and that fixed the problem. I honestly think she was afraid to be in there by herself so the binki was a comfort to her. But once Nattie was in the room she didn't need the binki and hardly ever asks about it now. hallelujah.
**Emmie loves packing bags and she will pack up all her bags and then pretend to leave. Hilarious.
**She is using more and more words everyday and I love it. She was only using one sign (she started speaking all the other sign words) for "please" but just this week has started speaking "please" so I think we are done with sign. It was helpful, but now she can talk well enough that she doesn't need it and I'm excited! My favorite word that she says is "oopies" for oopsies. She doesn't add the "s" in there and it's so cute! oopies! haha!
**When we walk into Costco Emily immediately asks if we can go into the big fridge room by clenching her fists and mouth and shaking as if she's really cold. It's awesome and makes me laugh every time. And of course we walk thru the fridge room even if I don't need any fresh fruits and veggies.
**Cars is her favorite movie, hands down. But she also likes Toy Story, Mermaid, and Elmo.
**She calls the pool at our complex "beeeeeeet! beeeeeet!" (beach) Apparently she is a CA girl through and through, since all bodies of water are the beach to her. She loves going to the beach and running away from the waves.
