Tiff: "Daddy, I think you are swinging Nattie too high."
Cory: "No I'm not. She's fine."
Next thing you know, my one year old falls backwards out of the swing, does a back layout, and lands with a thud on her belly. She scraped up her chin and bit her lip open, poor little thing.
Moral of the story: The Mom knows best. Just sayin'.
And here is Cory's rebuttal:
Why is it that the one time the mom is watching the dad push his daughter on the swing, is the ONE time she decides to try a gymnastics dismount at the top of her swing. If she had just had one more quarter rotation it would have been one sweet dismount. As it was, it was sad. Fortunately she was ok, and asking to get back on the swing before mom was ready to be done consoling her.
