Riding Horses

Turns out, Grandpa Jay owns two horses named Spider and Stormy, so on Sept 9, 2010 we went with our friends, the Dingers, to ride, pet, and be afraid of them. Cory had some trouble getting Stormy and Spider saddled and ready to ride, so Grandpa Jay had to come to the rescue and help us out.
Between the electric fence around the pasture, the horse poop, mud, mini river, and the part where Stormy (or is it Spider??) sometimes bites, this Mom was a bit of a nervous wreck. But we kept a good eye on all four little girls as we took turns riding around on the horses. Emily and Natalie didn't so much love the horse, but eventually warmed up enough to sit on the horse and have a ride.
When we were done with Stormy and Spider, we played on the Broadhead's (house where the horses board) swing set and looked at their chickens.  All the girls loved playing together and it turned out to be a successful afternoon. Thanks for coming Dingers!
