Someday, I hope I laugh at this post, but today, I am so not laughing.
Today:
The girls spilled shampoo all over themselves, their clothes, and the bathtub, requiring a bath, and lots of bubbles everywhere as I tried to clean it up.
Emily refused to get ready for preschool, and when I finally (seven times) told her it was too late, sorry, we will try again on Thurs and maybe you will choose to get ready that day, she freaked out and threw a tantrum.
The girls took all but about 7 ornaments off the tree and were throwing them down on the ground like balls. "look Nattie, they bounce!"
And the last straw: they snuck my wedding photo album into their room even though I told them they couldn't look at it because I was busy and couldn't help them with it. And they ripped a bunch of pages out.
So I made them sit on kitchen chairs for the next 30 min. It was either that or completely come unglued.
I am ready for today to be over.
Maybe tomorrow will be better??

I'm sorry-I hate those days. Tomorrow will be different, you can always count on that. It might not be better, but it will be different!
You're the best! Go sit in a hot bubble bath and relax... never mind the ornaments, of the shampoo, or the ripped book (however I think I would die a little about that one) and just soak your cares away! ;)
You're not alone! Days like that I have to remind myself of that.
