36 weeks pregnant with #3

Weight gain: 26 lbs
BP: 118/68
dilated one fingertip width---not quite a 1.
Baby is head down and heartbeat sounds awesome.
Always wake up between 3-4 AM to use the bathroom, just like the last two pregnancies. We will see baby takes after her sisters and wakes up at that time to eat.
Random, non-spicy foods give me heartburn, and then spicy foods do nothing. Weird.
I could eat SmartStart cereal three meals a day.
My lower belly/pelvic region is way more sore this time than I remember it being the two times before.
I have contractions like it's my freaking job. Apparently it's not just an old wive's tale that you have more Braxton Hicks with every pregnancy!
My BP has been higher (about 130/86, which is really high for me) since my 33 week appt, so I have been seeing Dr. Scott every week. Yesterday (2/27/2012) it was low-ish again, so that is good. I have also had protein in my urine, swelling, headaches, etc, so Dr. Scott is watching me closely to make sure I don't have preeclampsia. I am on "take it easy" mode, and have found it hard to see the fine line between living life and taking care of my house/children and taking it easy. Glad we are getting really close to getting this baby out!
Been reading about hypnobirthing and plan on using several of the basic concepts (some stuff is just weird) to help me give birth. My last epidural was such a nightmare that I think I will have to be on my absolute deathbed to allow a doc to shove a giant needle into my back again. No thanks.  Hopefully the relaxation techniques I have been practicing will help me stay relaxed and calm and just let my body do what it needs to do.
The girls are getting excited for "Baby Lily" to come out.  We'll see if they remain excited when they realize how much it's going to change our routine. :)
I have a bunch of freezer meals in the freezer and that makes this new mama-to-be very happy.

Yay! I'm glad you finally updated your blog! Geez, it's not like you're BUSY or anything ;) Jealous that you only wake up once at night, I do that when I'm not pregnant!

I am anxiously awaiting to hear how your hypnobirthing techniques work. And please ask if I can ever help. I really would love to have the girls come play during a dr. appointment, or I could come up to your house for the day and help do some good cleaning before baby comes.
