So I'm not really sure why, but I read this little mistake by a first-time parent story and seriously could have died I was laughing so hard! Then I had to retell Cory, Toddy, and my Dad, and couldn't even get the words out because I was laughing so hard. I honestly had to cross my legs to keep from full on wetting myself. Anyway....I hope that some of you find this even a little funny, because if not, I'll feel like a freak. So here you go:
"My son, Billy, was only about 4 days old when I got up from a nap and found that his dad had taken the nasal aspirator that they give you at the hospital and given it to Billy to use as a pacifier. After I explained what it was, he looked a little sheepish before saying 'Good thing I rinsed it off first.'"

P.S. I really do love to laugh.

The funny thing is that first time dads are like that. I wouldn't say Peter has done that but he has done some pretty weird stuff. Good luck!!
Who the crap gives that to a baby as a pacifier?? Honestly. My kids like to play with those, but it's not because Steve gave it to them to comfort them. Goodness! I'll agree with Katie that it takes practice for guys to be good dads. Steve's getting it down pretty good.
