They are small glass bottles of Coca-Cola that we have had for 16 years. Just after my brother Kent got home from his mission in 1993 my parents took Kent to Louisiana and Mississippi to see my Dad's mission. While there they found these smaller size Coke bottles that aren't sold anymore. My Mom wanted some for this Coke crate she had, so Kent and my Dad had to haul 24 of them on the airplane for her. And they have been sitting in my parents' family room ever since. We always joke about when my parents kick the bucket the 8 kids are going to pop those Coke bottles open and get drunk off the fermented coke....so the other night we decided to actually open one and try it out.
Here's my Dad's reaction:
Please excuse the shakey camera....I was laughing so hard I couldn't hold it steady. :)
And here was Kent's reaction:
He pretty much drank half the bottle. Sick.
So now we have one lone empty bottle in the crate.

That's so funny! I totally remember those bottles. So when is this baby girl joining us?
Oh.my.gosh...
I can't even tell you how freakin' hard I was laughing just watching this! Those Coke bottle are totally a classic! I'm glad to see that you guys were finally putting them to good use!
On another note, this was totally catch-up-on-Tiff's-blog day. Congrats to Todd! I can't believe he's actually old enough to serve! I still remember walking home from Cherry Hill with you and Todd when he was in Kindergarten! Man...we're getting OLD!
Emily is SO stinking cute! It looks like she's still as much in charge of you guys as ever! ;)
Congrats on getting the grant...I know how much of a blessing those things can be. It's crappy how expensive an education is. I think we should all move to Germany where they pay about 50 euros to go to college (not joking).
Good luck on the move! You guys are going to have so much fun! Yea for new adventures!!!
That's a fun video. Nice you caught your dad's reaction on camera. :) I like your high-pitched laugh. What did your dad say after he tasted it? I couldn't tell...but I'm interested.
