So the long and the short of it is that we are moving to Boise freaking Idaho for the summer. I know. Who lives in freaking ID?? I hope we don't come back acting like hill billies. :)
Why are we moving? Well, mainly because Cory is no longer working for his professor, (for a lot of reasons, but mostly he wasn't loving the research) which means he won't get paid to do research over the summer, which means we need a J-O-B. He should be getting an offer from HP in the next couple days about an internship there. So we're moving to Boise to live with the in laws for 3 months!
We are definitely going to miss the beach, but our consolation prize is my FIL's amazing Malibu Wakesetter boat. Yay for boating all summer long!
What does this mean for us longterm? Cory will finish his Master's here at UCLA and then will go somewhere else for his PhD. So we'll be moving from LA as early as December 2010, but maybe not until April 2011. So if you want to plan a Disneyland trip, (Katie, Esther, Lindsay, Kim, Mist, Camille) come after Sept 20th and before Christmas 2010 to make sure that we will be here.
We roll out of LA next Wed, June 30th. Wish us luck on our latest adventure!

HAVE FUN! That makes me miss you guys even more. And Troy will be oh so happy that you will be around to help prepare the Idaho part of his wedding. I bet he's got the biggest smirk because he told you that he'd get back at you guys after your wedding. :)
What the wha? Just when we get here!!! You are in so much trouble. I need the serious low-down! I'm in shock and am starting to get depressed already...I can't talk about this anymore.....
No!!! We will be there around the 12th of september. and we just went to boise in march. But you are right, I would like to be using that malibu right now too. I need to go boating!!! Have fun with that and good luck on yuor next adventure. by the way, i like your new layout.
I have to say that I am excited about the whole deal. Seeing as how I might as well be moving to Boise I will be there so much I will get to see you a lot this summer! Don't you just love how every time you think you have a pretty solid life plan, it changes! Bring on the fun!

Holy cow don't you just love how life changes from one day to the next? But congratulations on having a great alternative plan in such a short amount of time. And I mean short, next wednesday, crazy! But it does mean you'll be closer to Utah, which I feel good about.
Freaking Idaho?!?!?! C'mon...the two most amazing people live in Idaho!!! Plus the absolutely faboulus girl whose name your daughter has been saying :) as in, she wants to wish her most loved auntie a happy 14th birthday, in person :D I can't wait to see you guys, let alone be your babysitter for the next three months!!!

Idaho?! Oh brother. ;) At least you'll have a boat. I don't have a boat here in OH but there is a pool, and a little floatie and if Dave pushes me fast enough I can kind of feel the wind in my hair and if I close my eyes and think hard enough it feels just like being on a boat, so see...I'm totally not jealous. :) Oh but we did get a season pass to a water park here so take that sucka!!! lol
funny. will be in boise that exact day. we should hook up. not like in high school hook up, like hang out:)
