Once There Was a Snowman

Cory loves to play in the snow, so when Emily asked to go out in the frigid weather to play, the Dad was all for it.  Emily had never made a snowman, so Daddy taught her how it's done.

First you get all bundled up in your snow clothes so you're nice and toasty.

Then you head outside, find some good packing snow, and start rolling your balls.

When the balls are big enough, you stack them up and pack the snow tight so the balls don't fall apart.

When the snowman is shaped, you raid the fridge in the garage for stuff to make a snowman face. Daddy helps you find 2 strawberries for the eyes, a carrot nose, and blueberries for the smiley mouth.  Then you pose for the picture.
And wave to Mom in the window.

You tell Dad that the snowman might get cold outside, so Daddy puts his earmuff on the snowman to keep him warm. :)

Just as you're about to go inside, you decide Mr. Snowman needs a "teeny tiny baby snowman," so Dad helps you make a small snowman too.

You have so much fun in the snow, just You and your Dad.
