Even talking about it makes me want to clean my house again.......
Anyway, one day while I was going through some stuff shoved somewhere, I came across this:
Anyone recognize those?? Barbs, Shells, Katie, Cam, Heather--show this post to Kyle, I know you all read my blog! What a blast from the past! And for those that didn't go to high school with me.....you're looking at the programs from a bunch of high school dances. How precious. :)
My first thought was, "WHY in the heck did those even ever get packed to come to CA?!" Now, I will be the first to tell you that I'm a nostalgic person. That's why I'm back blogging, after all. I want to have our life written down and printed in a blog book. And I liked high school, too. I have great memories from those dances, I still have all my dance pics tucked away in some bin in storage at my sisters house, yadda yadda. But the program?? That's where I draw the line, especially when space is precious in our tiny LA apt.
I took pics of them.....are you dying to see who was in the Homecoming Royalty? I thought so. So I took a pic of that too. May I present your Homecoming Royalty from MVHS, Class of 2002:
Congratulations, everyone.
And then, after 9 years of storing them, it was time to put the programs in the trash. I welcomed the extra space in my closet, and a fun walk down memory lane. :)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! That's awesome! Oh the memories. Wow! I have a closet full of crap at my parents still. Maybe this summer will be the time to do a purge as well. Thanks for the inspiration.
P.S. No wonder you had a dream about Mr. Bowman.
I did not even remember that we had programs. I kinda purged things when I bought my house. I wanted to be the first kid that actually got EVERYTHING out of my parents house--still not there, but I'm the closest:) But yeah---I got rid of lots of stuff over the years. Pretty sure I got rid of those programs the night we got them:)
haha, that's hilarious. I'mbad I even got rid of all the big size pictures I just kept a few of the big ones and then kept the little ones. So funny! HS was a good time, but I threw away a bunch this spring too!
Oh my heck...I'm dying! I think I might have kept those for a week! I'm proud of you for dumping them.
